'Baltic Berry Gardens' is a farmers Cooperative growing Sea Buckthorn, Quince and Cranberries in over 175 ha, located in different regions of Latvia.

Products

SEA BUCKTHORN

We offer both organic and conventionally grown sea buckthorn berries. The berries are grown by following the guidelines developed by the cooperative, which ensures the quality of finished product. Field inspections, fertilization and other activities all follow a single system. Latvia is known for its quality berries, because the varieties grown here have been selected to adapt to these conditions for 40 years.

CRANBERRIES

We offer organically grown cranberries. The cranberries are grown in prestine Latvian peat bogs and harvested with dry harvesting method preserving the berries from damage and allowing them to stay fresh for longer. In 2021 we harvested more than 300 metric tons.

NEWS

On the 9th of Julu 2021 ‘’Baltijas Ogu dārzi Lauksaimniecības pakalpojumu kooperatīvā sabiedrība’’has signed an agreement Nr. SKV-L-2021/163  with Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA)  for the project International competitiveness promotion which is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

Baltic Berry Gardens participated in Anuga, the leading global trade fair for the food and beverage industry witch took place in Cologne from 09.-13.10.2021.

Baltic Berry Gardens implementing the approach of LEADER program, which is supported by European agricultural fund for rural development and Latvian Rural Development program 2014-2020, has successfully realised the project “Establishment of berry processing line" Nr. 21-04-AL32-A019.2102-000003. 

This program co-financed establishment of fruit packaging line at Baltic Berry Gardens for products in Retail and HoReCa packaging (0,5-2,0 kg) and purchased metal detector ensures improving of food safety management system.

This will allow  Baltic Berry Gardens  to address new customer segments and thus diversify our sales channels. Such technical capabilities will open opportunities for cooperation with local farmers,  who seek retail distribution for their IQF frozen berries.
